Inspiration...

People from all over the world travel to Steamboat Springs for inspiration. The rustic town is home to many summer festivals and workshops in photography, theater, orchestral and chamber music, and harp. Students of the Rocky Mountain Springs Harp Program join the creative atmosphere, visiting local art galleries, picnicking at chamber music series in the park, and attending concerts by world-class musicians, to name a few activities.

Strengthening...

Musicians must stay in physical shape to stay injury-free and perform at their best. At the Rocky Mountain Springs Harp Program, students participate in organized outdoor activities two to three times per week. The area is brimming with hikes to breathtaking vistas, bike trails, horse trails, and water sports. Students also participate in morning stretches and learn strengthening exercises that target areas of the body crucial to playing the harp.

Confidence...

The Rocky Mountain Springs Harp Program offers an encouraging, positive atmosphere that helps students to develop confidence in their increasing playing abilities. Students receive two lessons each week and participate in a master class. Everyone is given several opportunities to perform in both fun and serious environments as well as in group and solo settings. At each venue, students improve their performance skills, culminating in a final formal concert.
