Yesterday we took a break from practicing for a day hike to Three Island Lake. The spectacular view was worth the six-mile hike and 1500 foot elevation increase!

From intense technique classes to harp arranging to breathtaking (literally!) hikes to inspiring concerts, this has been an unforgettable summer. Thank you to the faculty and staff, family, teachers, and supporters who have made this year's program possible! See you next year! Rocky Mountain Springs Harp Program and Rocky Mountain Summer Conservatory present a free evening of chamber music on Saturday, July 18th 7:00 p.m. Bud Werner Memorial Library 1289 Lincoln Avenue Steamboat Springs, CO We were fortunate to celebrate Independence Day enjoying this beautiful country and its culture! Our day began with a hike to Hahn's Peak (see pictures below), followed by some intense music-making, fireworks, pizza and a rousing game of spoons. The program consists of three action-packed weeks from Sunday, June 28-Sunday, July 19. Early application deadline: April 1, 2015 Scholarship deadline: May 1, 2015 General application deadline: May 1, 2015 What an amazing time we had at the 2014 Rocky Mountain Springs Harp Program!
Some highlights included: -performing Ruminations for harp and cello by Rocky Mountain Summer Conservatory director Ernest Richardson -concluding our final concert with Eduardo Cassapia's arrangement of Libertango by Astor Piazzola -a death-defying hike to Devil's Causeway -breath-taking views of Fish Creek Falls -reuniting with old friends and getting to know new ones -and much, much more! We had such a great time, we hope you'll be there to help us experience RMSHP 2015! We're having a wonderful time here in Steamboat Springs! Last night was our first joint concert of 2014 with the Rocky Mountain Summer Conservatory, featuring chamber music and solos. It was a success! All of the students played well. Looking forward to our next two concerts, Thursday and Saturday at 7pm at the Steamboat Springs Library! Rocky Mountain Summer Conservatory faculty member Manuel Ramos has agreed to offer a Mariachi class as one of our interdisciplinary offerings for 2014!
